Introduction of Train Between Indore-Delhi Sarai Rohilla Express Train No 19337 and Train No 19338
HON’BLE SPEAKER, LOKSABHA WILL DEDICATE WR’S 1st HERITAGE SECTION TRAIN AS WELL AS FLAG OFF AND ANNOUNCE SLEW OF TRAINS AT INDORE
Hon’ble Speaker of Lok Sabha Smt Sumitra Mahajan will be Dedicating the Special Heritage train on WR’s first Heritage section of Patalpani – Kalakund, hoisting the 100 feet monumental National Flag at Indore railway station, announcing the introduction of Train No 19333/19334 Indore- Bikaner Express, 19336/19335 Indore – Gandhidham Express, Increase in frequency of 19313/19314 Indore – Patna Express from Weekly to Bi-weekly, Change in timings of 19329/19330 Indore – Udaipur Veer Bhumi Express and Flagging off of 19337/19338 Indore – Delhi Sarai Rohilla Express on 18th January, 2019 at a function to be held at Indore Railway station at 16.30 hrs. The function will be attended by Hon’ble MP Smt Savitri Thakur alongwith other dignitaries and Senior Railway officials.
According to a press release issued by Shri Ravinder Bhakar – Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, WR introduced a special heritage train on the metre guage line between Patalpani & Kalakund stations on 25th December, 2018 which has been declared a Heritage Section by Indian Railways.
This picturesque & scenic section comes under Ratlam Division of Western Railway. This heritage train departs from Dr Ambedkar Nagar station at 11.05 hrs and arrives Kalakund at 13.25 hrs. Similarly, in return direction this heritage train departs from Kalakund at 14.55 hrs and arrives Dr Ambedkar Nagar at 15.40 hrs. The heritage train has 2 coaches, one reserved coach & one unreserved coach. The fare of 12 seats of first 3 rows of the reserved coach for the journey from Dr Aambedkar Nagar to Kalakund and return is Rs 240/- per person and it is Rs 200/- per person for the rest of the rows of coaches. The fare for the same journey in unreserved coach is Rs 20 per passenger. This special train on the heritage section of Patalpani – Kalakund is being dedicated to the nation.
In a bid to infuse patriotism among the public and passengers, Indian Railways has decided to install 100-ft tall National Flags on the premises of 75 of the busiest stations in the country. It is a proud moment wherein on Western Railway a 100 feet tall flag has been installed and is being hoisted at Indore station.
A new train between Indore and Delhi Sarai Rohilla is being flagged off for the convenience of passengers. Train No 19337/19338 Indore – Delhi Sarai Rohilla Express will be a great boon to the people of Indore as well as Delhi. For the convenience of passengers and better connectivity, a slew of announcements will also be made during the function.
Introduction of Train No 19333 and 19334 Indore – Bikaner Express, 19336 and 19335 Indore – Gandhidham Express, Increase in frequency of 19313 and 19314 Indore – Patna Express from Weekly to Bi-weekly and Change in timings of 19329/19330 Indore – Udaipur Veer Bhumi Express. Introduction of new trains will also get the cultures of the two states closer.
