Mega Block on Harbour Line on 9.5.2021
Central Railway will operate Mega Block on its harbour line section for carrying out maintenance work on 9.5.2021.
Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus-Chunabhatti / Bandra Dn harbour line from 11.40 am to 4.40 pm & Chunabhatti / Bandra- Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Up harbour line from 11.10 am to 4.10 pm
Dn Harbour line services to Vashi / Belapur / Panvel leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai / Wadala Road from 11.34 am to 4.47 pm and
Dn Harbour line services to Bandra / Goregaon leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai from 09.56 am to 4.43 pm will remain suspended.
Up Harbour line services for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai leaving Panvel / Belapur / Vashi from 9.53 am to 3.20 pm and
Up Harbour line services for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai leaving Goregaon / Bandra from 10.45 am to 4.58 pm will remain suspended.
However, Special services will run between Panvel and Kurla (Platform No.8) during the block period.
Harbour line passengers are permitted to travel via Main Line and Western Railway from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm during block period.
NO MEGA BLOCK WILL BE OPERATED ON MAIN LINE BETWEEN CHHATRAPATI SHIVAJI MAHARAJ TERMINUS-KALYAN SECTION
These maintenance mega blocks are essential for infrastructure upkeep and safety. Passengers are requested to bear with the Railway Administration for the inconvenience caused.
WR’s Night Block on Slow Lines between Borivali & Andheri Stations on Sunday, 9th May, 2021
NO DAY BLOCK ON WESTERN RAILWAY
To carry out maintenance work of tracks, signalling and overhead equipment, a Jumbo Block of four hrs will be taken on Up and Down slow lines between Borivali and Andheri stations intermediate night of Saturday/Sunday from 00:30 hrs to 04:30 hrs on Sunday, 9th May, 2021.
According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur – Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, during the block period, all Down slow line trains will run on down fast lines between Santacruz & Borivali , hence the down slow trains will avail double halt at Vile Parle station and will not halt at Ram Mandir Rly station.
All up local line trains will run on up fast line Ex. Borivali to Andheri , hence these trains will not halt at Ram Mandir Rly station.
During block period no trains will be dealt from platform No. 1, 2, 3 & 4 at Borivali Rly station.
Passengers are requested to please take note of the above arrangements.
